Business broker Metro Business Advisors was retained to facilitate a succession plan for Dr. Bruce Hemming, founder and CEO of Microbe Inotech Laboratories. The acquisition brings together important resources to expand and innovate within the microbiology and biotech sectors. MiL’s extensive testing capabilities and expertise provide a foundation for Pluton to accelerate research and discovery.

Microbe Inotech Laboratories, Inc. (MiL) is a full-service microbiological lab located in St. Louis, performing research and development, as well as microbial and biochemical analysis on a service and contract basis. The lab specializes in microbial diagnostic research and assisting in the development of product solutions. MiL comprises six distinct laboratory sectors: environmental, food safety, industrial, pharmaceutical, plant science, and governmental.
